• Where to Stay in Kuala Lumpur

Booking a trip to the Malaysian capital? Backpacking around South East Asia? Want to stay in a super snazzy little AirBnB apartment with an infinity pool over looking the Petronas Towers? Okay that last one was a silly question. Anyway, after several messages asking about where we stayed during our time in KL,  I thought I would put together a little review for you of my recommendation of where to stay in Kuala Lumpur.  D’Majestic…

    24 Hours in Malacca, Malaysia

On leaving Singapore our first stop in Malaysia was Malacca. Having our last travel vaccinations, selling our beloved first car (FYI he was fondly named Pablo the Fiat Punto), leaving our 9-5 lives, packing/unpacking and selling all that was possible in the time we had…

Where to go for Brunch in Leicester

Now, it is no secret that I am not the biggest fan of Leicester. But I can only blame that on being spoilt over the past few years having lived in more fabulous cities. I mean Leicester is ok, but it’s got nothing on Valencia. I think it’s mainly just too far from the sea for me. However, Leicester is home. For now. So, I thought it would be apt to put together a post…
