10 Photos that will make you want to visit Cornwall!

in Europe, UK

Cornwall – the perfect destination for a UK road trip! Whether a staycation, camping trip or family holiday, Cornwall has something for everyone and all the swoonworthy views to boot. We travelled down via Bath, to Treen in Cornwall where we camped at Treen Farm Campsite to celebrate Josh’s birthday in 2018! It was honestly so beautiful, the glorious weather we had whilst there probably helped a bit.

I don’t know about anyone else, but despite being from the UK I often forget about going on holiday in England. When I was younger, I spent a lot of time abroad and didn’t start travelling in Britain until I was in my 20s. To tell you the truth, I have certainly fallen in love with so many parts of the UK since then. Needless to say, it has made me realise how much I need to take advantage of the adventures closer to home!

I thought I would include some of my most favourite photos. A lot of these, were taken along the coastal path – somewhere between Treen and Lands End (because for some crazy reason we thought it would be a good idea to walk nearly 15 miles in the very deceiving breezy sunshine) I hope you enjoy!

Porthcurno Beach - Cornwall

Porthcurno Beach where the water is really that perfect shade of blue.

Prosecco & Sunset - Porthcurno, Cornwall

Watch the sunset from Logan Rocks – we met a lady on our wander back to the campsite and she said ‘I’ve been coming here for the last fifty years and it just gets into your soul!’

Porthcurno Coastal Path - Cornwall

Staying at Treen Farm was a great location for joining the coastal path to Land’s End.

Lizards Point - Cornwall

Sun down at Logan Rocks…

The Cornish coastline is adorned with the most wonderful plethora of wild flowers.

It was worth the 4.30am alarm to watch the skies turn pink and light up St Michael’s Mount at Morazion.

Capture this classic view of the harbour in St Ives from the Malakoff.

We had walked over 10 miles and I cried happy tears when I got to take my trainers off and paddle in here!

As you can see, Kynance Cove is picture perfect – do not miss!

Above all I’m happiest by the sea – I never wanted to leave.

I’m quite the opposite when I was younger I didn’t spend much time abroad but lots of time in Cornwall. It’s a stunning area of the country and your photos just show the beauty of the coastline. Kynance Cove is a perfect place especially when it’s quiet!

Your photos are so stunning! I really want to visit Cornwall again after going for the first time last year, the views everywhere are simply beautiful! My favourite place we visited was St Ives but I also loved St Michael’s Mount and Bedruthan Steps! That sunrise picture you have is amazing! I’ve never heard of Kynance Cove but will definitely add it to my list of places to visit next time we go! Great post as usual!

Thankyou! When the weather is good it’s just so beautiful, I hadn’t been until a couple of years ago! I’m still trying to make my mind up on paying for lightroom, these were just edited on my windows software so I would love something a bit more technical (if that makes sense!) 🙂 x
