AirBnB with a view of the Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

Booking a trip to the Malaysian capital? Backpacking around South East Asia? Want to stay in a super snazzy little AirBnB with a view of the Petronas Towers and an infinity pool? Okay that last one was a silly question. Anyway, after several messages asking about where we stayed during our time in KL,  I thought I would put together a little review for you of my recommendation of where to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur - Infinity Pool

D’MAJESTIC HOMESTAY an AIRBNB WITH A VIEW OF THE PETRONAS TOWERS, KUALA LUMPUR

So, we booked our stay through AirBnB, but you can also book through Booking.com if you prefer.

We booked four nights here and it was honestly, such a good decision. On arrival at KL Sentral we jumped in a Grab and were driven into the city.

Check-in was as simple as showing our reservation email and collecting a key card from reception. Now I think the easiest way for me to show you around our superb little apartment is to show you a few photos.

Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur - Bedroom

The bed was super comfy, there was lots of storage (what dreams are made of when living out of two 60L backpacks!!) The AC worked like a dream and was absolutely necessary with 30+ degree temperatures and crazy humidity.

Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur - Kitchen area

We opted for one of the smaller apartments available on AirBnb, as it looked ample for what we needed. This little kitchen was spot on and having a fridge to store a few drinks and snacks was super helpful.

Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur - Bathroom

Rainfall shower and complimentary toiletries – living the backpacker dream. To be honest we didn’t watch the TV during our stay as we have Netflix on the laptop, but nice to have the option!

Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur - infinity pool at night

And for the pièce de résistance, a rooftop inifinity pool with a tremendous view over the city. Oh out of shot there is also a ‘fitness suite’. Which is out of shot, because I didn’t set foot in it…

Anyway, I thought I would finish this one with a little hotel style review in numbers, to give you a more rounded idea of what we thought and to give you more reason to choose D’Majestic for your stay

Cleanliness: 9Comfort: 9
Facilities: 9 Staff: N/A
Value for money: 9Location: 7
As you can see the only real criticism would be the location. D’Majestic is not too close to anything as such. It was a 20 minute from the Bukit Bintang – the main shopping/ entertainment district, but when we were staying, there were some roadworks which meant walking wasn’t all that preferable. Put it this way, Grab was a lifesaver during our stay and as most journeys cost less than £2.00 we couldn’t really complain.

So there you have it all the info on the perfect AIRBNB WITH A VIEW OF THE PETRONAS TOWERS, KUALA LUMPUR . Oh no wait, how could I forget. All of this for as little as £16pn?! I know right. Book it.
